StylePhyle is edited by Kathleen M. Jenkins, who has had an interest in style and fashion ever since that fateful day in the first grade when a fashion experiment gone horribly, horribly wrong resulted in her wearing one red knee sock and one white knee sock.

She only did that once.

Her taste has improved slightly since then, and she specializes in understanding mood and tone and what an outfit communicates, shopping, matching shoes to outfits, and presenting a polished image. Packing and closet organization also take up an inordinate amount of her free time.

When not shopping for shoes or advising friends on putting outfits together, Kat is an e-business strategy consultant specializing in helping companies realize a measurable return on their online investment. She has been strategizing, developing, and managing e-business initiatives since 1995, and is co-principal of StrategyStyle Consulting (her partner is well-known and respected graphic designer Sue LaChapelle, of LaChapelle Design).

Kat lives in Cincinnati with her two-and-a-half year old son Ford, and three very, very spoiled cats.
