Shoes for a Black & Ivory Dress
I've bought my girlfriend a black prom style dress with an ivory ribbon around the waist. What colour shoes would go well with that? She has great purple ones.Also, would this dress look good with black stockings?
I'm packing her bag and need to know.
Black stockings would be fine, but in summer, bare legs look better. On the shoes, if they are a light or medium purple, they are fine-but your best options are black or ivory--you could also go with red, especially if there's another red accessory, like jewelry or even red lipstick.
