Hi Kat, I am going to a party with my boyfriend, but it's a big thing for him (work) and his bosses will be there. I have a dress with thin straps, etc., that's quite short too but Idon't know what to wear on my legs--tights or stockings? I nearly always go barelegged, but it's a posh party. What do you suggest?

You have a couple of options for what to wear on your legs--and barelegged is definitely one of them. From your description of the dress, I think tights would be too heavy and would throw the look off. If you opt for hose, I would recommend black, and very sheer (the sheerer they are, the dressier the look). Again, barelegged is more than acceptable, and my advice is to go with the look you're most comfortable in, because your comfort level and your confidence show on your face.
